These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Synfliq service operated by Synfliq BV ("Synfliq", "we", "us"), a private limited company registered in the Netherlands (KvK: 59274778).
By creating an account, requesting access, or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you (or the organisation on whose behalf you are acting) and Synfliq BV.
Synfliq is an AI-powered process mapping tool that converts unstructured process content — documents, images, diagrams — into structured process maps compatible with Elements.cloud. The service uses AI models provided by Anthropic and Google.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.
The service is currently in early access. Features may change and availability may be limited.
To use Synfliq, you must create an account using a business email address. You represent and warrant that:
We reserve the right to decline or revoke access at our sole discretion, including for accounts registered with personal email domains.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You may use Synfliq only for lawful business purposes. You must not:
The service is powered by AI APIs from Anthropic and Google, depending on your plan and provider selection. Your use of AI-generation features is subject to your AI provider's Acceptable Use Policy.
The Bundle plan uses a pre-purchased credit system. Credits are consumed when you use AI-powered operations. Credit costs per operation are shown in the application and in the Support documentation.
Users on the BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) plan connect their own AI provider API key (Anthropic or Google). Credit limits do not apply to BYOK users. You are responsible for all costs incurred on your provider account and for compliance with your provider's terms of service.
New accounts may receive a welcome credit allocation at the time of registration. Welcome credits are provided at our discretion and are subject to change.
We may change credit prices or bundle configurations at any time. Changes will be communicated at least 14 days in advance for existing users. Previously purchased credits are not affected by price changes.
Payments are processed by Mollie B.V., a licensed Dutch payment institution regulated by De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB). Synfliq BV does not store payment card details. By completing a purchase you agree to Mollie's terms of service.
All credit purchases are one-time transactions. Synfliq does not operate recurring billing or automatic renewals. You are only charged when you explicitly initiate a purchase.
Credits are digital content delivered immediately upon purchase. In accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU Article 16(m), by completing a purchase you:
This waiver is confirmed by the checkbox you complete at the time of purchase.
Credit purchases are non-refundable once the order is confirmed.
Exceptions — a full refund will be issued within 5 business days in the following cases only:
To request a refund under the above exceptions, contact info@synfliq.com with your invoice number within 7 days of the charge.
If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact info@synfliq.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We will investigate and resolve legitimate issues within 5 business days.
Initiating an unjustified chargeback may result in account suspension pending resolution.
Credits expire as follows:
Expired credits are not refundable.
The maximum credit balance is 15,000 credits. If a purchase would exceed this limit, only the credits needed to reach 15,000 will be granted. If no credits can be granted due to this limit, a full refund will be issued within 5 business days.
All prices include 21% Dutch VAT (BTW). A VAT invoice is automatically issued after every successful purchase and available in Account Settings → Credits & Purchasing.
EU businesses may apply for reverse charge treatment by contacting info@synfliq.com with their VAT identification number.
Non-EU customers are not charged Dutch VAT.
You retain all ownership rights to the content you upload to Synfliq (documents, images, text). By using the service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
You represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights to submit the content you upload and that doing so does not violate any third-party rights or applicable law.
We do not store your uploaded content. Content is transmitted to the AI provider in-memory and is not persisted on our servers after processing completes.
The Synfliq service, including its software, design, prompts, and documentation, is owned by Synfliq BV and protected by Dutch and international intellectual property law. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights in the service beyond what is explicitly stated.
Synfliq uses UPN (Universal Process Notation) which is an open standard.
Diagrams generated by the service from your input content are yours to use freely. We do not claim any ownership over generated outputs.
Our collection and use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the service, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by Dutch law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Synfliq BV shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising under or related to these Terms shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
You may terminate your account at any time via Account Settings → Danger zone → Delete account. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if:
Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Any remaining credits are forfeited, except where required otherwise by applicable law.
Sections 7, 8, 10, 11, 13, and 14 of these Terms survive termination.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with Dutch law. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) does not apply.
Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court in the Netherlands. For consumers in the EU, mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and notify registered users by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Continued use of the service after the effective date of a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
For questions about these Terms, contact us at the address above. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
